Junipur has practiced yoga for over 35 years, and always felt a yearning desire for what lies beyond the sensory world. From a very young age she had dreams and visions that were different from her friends and peers. Having serious limitations, due to health problems, she could never keep up with their natural vitality as much as she tried. As she entered her teenage years, the distance between her and the rest of the outside world grew, to her dismay, and she was virtually alone with her ?strange? interests and thoughts, eyes to the stars. At the age of 20, Junipur began her spiritual practice with the initiation into meditation; it resulted in an immediate radical kundalini awakening. that served to increased the vast space...
In 1982, Junipur met, and received Shaktipat initiation from a world-renowned guru. Her practice became more intense, focussed and formalized, evolving into the axis of her eixistence in the 14 years that followed. But, at the same time, a light was subtly waning, a shadow growing that, with successive years, became more and more difficult to fathom, or negotiate.
